Grades 4-6 Concert tonight, 7PM! Grades 5-6 are asked to wear anything they feel the most comfortable in. They are singing pop music, LHS LIVE style! Grade 4 may take their dress another step further and add 1950's flare to enhance the fun they will have performing '50's tunes. I'm looking forward to seeing YOU watch your children perform in AWESOME ways tonight! Sincerely, Mrs. Lebahn

Day 3 has the same two mushers in first and last (red lantern) place! The other mushers in the photo are staying close and the kids are evaluating times at checkpoints and drawing conclusions on when the mandatory rests will occur and so much more! #Iditarod

The 4th grade is off to the races with their learning of the Iditarod. The 52nd annual Iditarod started this past weekend. Each student selected a musher and learns more about the race as each day passes. The student in the room whose musher is in first place gets to name the husky and keep it by their side throughout the day. The student whose musher is in last place keeps the lantern lit to demonstrate the Perseverance for all in this close to 1000 mile race. Two days have passed, and the same two mushers hold onto their place. At this time, the huskies two names are Ace and Gamble. Who will name the husky tomorrow?! No matter what, all of the students are enjoying learning about this competition.

The LHS Girls' Choir will be singing the National Anthem at the State B Girls' BB Tournament. They will perform before the championship game, Saturday at 7:30pm. Congratulations, LHS vocalists!
